Å forbedre bilstereodiskanten som ble betraktet som en referanse når den kom inn i markedet er en ganske utfordrende oppgave som bare kan oppnås med å fortsette utvikling over tid med maksimal omsorg for hver eneste detalje som kan påvirke lyden.
Med disse forutsetningene har Hertz ML 280.3 Legend bil høyttalere blitt født.
Gjennom FEA-Simulering utførte de elektroakustiske designerene omfattende forskning som førte til en optimalisering av Tetelon-dome geometrien for å oppnå minimal forvrengning. Denne optimaliseringen førte til en ny frontplate for å få enda bedre frekvens response.
Et annet element som ble utbedret var det bakre akustiske kammeret. Designere forsket på geometrien og på det anvendte dempematerialet og oppnådde en økning på 50% på det totalet volumet. Dette resulterte i en utvidet response på lavere frekvenser.
